Welcome to highintel.com (a name I had to settle for, as all the other names I wanted had been taken :)
I've often felt that our public discourse has been somewhat narrowed down just to a few topics and arguments (cleverly or otherwise), and I often came across really challenging ideas only in books and the internet. This site is just an attempt on my part to either throw in some ideas or share what I come across, all with the question, 'Can we do better?'. I think we ought to be doing better in many areas, but there are too many forces at work - from so called 'tradition' to everyday distractions. But the least we can do is to ask the question...

Now playing:

Since I had to start somewhere, I decided to start by sharing a video series on climate change that I came across. It's not your typical talk on climate change - but a very serious take on how to even go about decision making in the face of uncertainty (most of which is perhpas manufactured?), and about what we could/should do about it. I found this whole series very impressive, inspiring and motivating for action (what's the difference between motivation and inspiration? May be more on that some other timeWink. You can watch these videos on YouTube or through this site - check out the link "How It All Ends".
